Dr. Ally McDonough is a Berks County native and is thrilled to be back in the community where her father, Dr. Alexandre Balaci, practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery for nearly 30 years. As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Ally is honored to continue her family’s legacy of exceptional and specialized oral healthcare for those within and surrounding Lebanon County. She established Little Bee’s Pediatric Dentistry alongside her father’s practice, creating a dedicated space designed just for kids.
As the owner and founder of Little Bee’s Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ally is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care in a warm, welcoming environment tailored specifically for children. She believes in treating every child as if they were her own and works closely with parents to ensure they feel informed and confident in their child’s dental care.

Dr. Ally’s academic journey began at Villanova University, where she earned a degree in Biochemistry—Go Cats! After graduating, she spent her post-baccalaureate year at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD, as part of the NIH Intramural Research Program. This experience deepened her appreciation for science and evidence-based healthcare, ultimately leading her to a career in dentistry.
She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania. During her time in Philadelphia, she embraced the city’s rich history and culture before returning to Washington, DC, to complete her pediatric dental residency at Children’s National Hospital, one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals. Her training there provided her with extensive experience in treating children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs.
Dr. Ally is dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry through ongoing education, training, and the integration of best practices to ensure the very best for her patients. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).
Outside of the office, Dr. Ally enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, their son Jameson, and their Bernese Mountain Dog, Harper. Together, they love being outdoors—hiking, traveling to new destinations, and attending concerts. Dr. Ally is a total foodie! She enjoys cooking new recipes in her kitchen, exploring new restaurants, and growing vegetables in her garden. She also enjoys practicing yoga and listening to music in her free time.
Dr. Kyra grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and attended Albright College for her undergraduate degree. Afterwards, she went on to Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for dental school and continued her education by completing a 1- year general practice residency in dentistry at York Hospital.
After several years of working as a general dentist, she had discovered her dedication for working with children and decided to continue her training by completing a 2-year pediatric dental residency program at Nemours Children’s hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. She is excited to return to Central PA and be a part of the Little Bee Pediatric Dentistry team.

Dr. Kyra enjoys knitting, sewing, and exercising outside. She shares these interests by exploring state parks with her husband and crafting with her daughter.
Dr. Jacqueline Caster has a diverse background in dentistry, with experience spanning general and pediatric care. After completing a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, she developed a passion for treating children and medically complex patients. She spent several years as a contract general dentist for the United States Air Force at Vandenberg Air Force Base in northern Santa Barbara County, California, before pursuing specialized training in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Caster completed her pediatric dentistry residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, serving as chief resident in her final year. In private practice for several years, she also teaches as clinical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in the pediatric dentistry department.
Dr. Caster, a Mechanicsburg native, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh. She then attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. During her pediatric residency, she conducted research focused on diagnosing and managing tongue and lip ties in breastfeeding patients.
Dr. Caster is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to children and making a lasting impact on her patients' lives. She is passionate about continuing education and staying up to date with the latest research. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband have two daughters and a dog.
