Dr. Alexandra (Ally) Balaci

Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist

Meet the Queen Bee of Little Bee’s Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Alexandra Balaci! As a native of Berks County, Dr. Ally grew to develop an appreciation for dentistry at an early age. Following in her father’s footsteps, Dr. Ally found her home in the dental world but found her true passion when working with children. First completing her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Villanova University, she then spent a year doing research at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland before receiving her DMD at the University of Pennsylvania. Finally, after completing dental school, Dr. Ally performed a two-year residency to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., one of the nation’s leading children’s hospitals. Outside of the office, Dr. Ally enjoys tennis, yoga, cooking, concerts, and hiking. She also loves animals! When you come to our office, make sure you say hello and ask her about her dog, Harper, and her cat, Watson!

Dr. Ally Balaci received her BS from Villanova University and her DMD from the University of Pennsylvania. She furthered her dental experience at Children’s National Hospital for a Pediatric Dentistry Residency.

Dr. Ally Balaci is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Outside of the office, Dr. Ally Balaci enjoys yoga, cooking, and hiking with her fiancé, Ryan, and their dog, Harper.

Dr. Jacqueline Caster

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Jacqueline Caster is a central Pennsylvania native who grew up in Mechanicsburg. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Duquesne University Mylan School of Pharmacy in Pittsburgh prior to attending Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. After graduation, Dr. Caster went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she discovered her passion for providing dental care to children as well as medically complex patients.

She worked for several years as a contract general dentist for the United States Air Force at Vandenberg Air Force Base in northern Santa Barbara County, California prior to pursuing a career in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Caster completed her pediatric dentistry residency program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine while serving as chief resident her last year. During residency, she conducted research focused on diagnosing and managing tongue and lip ties in breastfeeding patients. Dr. Caster has worked in private practice for several years and teaches as clinical faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in the pediatric dentistry department.

Dr. Caster finds joy in providing extraordinary dental care to children in the central Pennsylvania area as well as making a positive impact in the lives of her patients. She is passionate about staying current with educational courses and the latest research. In her spare time, Dr. Caster enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband have two daughters and a dog.

Dr. Kyra Schirk

Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Kyra grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and attended Albright College for her undergraduate degree. Afterwards, she went on to Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for dental school and continued her education by completing a 1- year general practice residency in dentistry at York Hospital. After several years of working as a general dentist, she had discovered her dedication for working with children and decided to continue her training by completing a 2-year pediatric dental residency program at Nemours Children’s hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. She is excited to return to Central PA and be a part of the Little Bee Pediatric Dentistry team.

Dr. Kyra attended Albright College for her undergraduate degree and University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine for dental school. She completed a 1-year general practice residency in dentistry at York Hospital and 2-year pediatric dental residency at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.

She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD).

Dr. Kyra enjoys knitting, sewing, and exercising outside. She shares these interests by exploring state parks with her husband and crafting with her daughter.
